About the Author

Ricky Smith is an independent, self-published epic fantasy author from the United Kingdom.

Ricky discovered his love for fantasy novels after picking up The Redemption of Althalus by David and Leigh Eddings in an airport bookshop. The breadth of worldbuilding and large cast of characters captured his imagination and ensured it was a repeated read in his adolescence.

Over twenty years later, that same copy still sits on his shelf as he pens his own stories, inspired by the legendary J. R. R. Tolkien as well as more contemporary authors like Brandon Sanderson, George R. R. Martin and Robin Hobb.
